IVETA HAS BEEN THE HEAD OF VAVRIOUS DIFFERENT DANCE GROUPS AND HAS WORKED AS A SPECIALIST IN HER FIELD:

  • from 2012 — creative director of dance ensamble Daiļrade
  • from 2011 — mentor for dance at the National Centre for Education
  • 2003 – 2015 — creative director of dance group Zeperi
  • from 1994 to 2018 — creative director at Riga French Lyceum dance group Auseklītis

IVETA HAS DEVELOPED HER KNOWLEDGE OF DANCE AT JĀZEPS VĪTOLS LATVIAN ACADEMY OF MUSIC.

ANTONS FREIMANS IS ONE OF THE MOST ACCOMPLISHED BALLET DANCERS AND CHOREOGRAPHERS IN LATVIA – IN 2017 ACKNOWLEDGED AS THE BEST SOLIST AT THE NATIONAL BALLET.

FROM A YOUNG A AGE ANTON’S PASSION HAS BEEN DANCE, WHICH HE DEVELOPED TO A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL ALREADY IN HIGH SCHOOL.

  • 2013 – BA in Choreography at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music.
  • 2008 – graduated from Riga Choreography High School.
  • From 2008 is an artist at the Latvian National Ballet.

Ozola

“Every moment in dance is a small performance.”

Vera has honed her dance skills both in Latvia and Great Britain.
Education:

  • 2025– Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, professional higher education in dance pedagogy

  • 2003 – Private professional ballet school “Ballet World”, teachers: Aleksandrs Barinovs, Vladimirs Ponomarevs, Ludmila Vikanova, Irēna Strode, Valentīns Bļinovs. Riga

Work experience: 

  • since 2020 – private teaching practice in classical dance and repertoire learning, choreography creation. Preparing dancers for international competitions, final concerts.
  • Since 2023 – leader and interest education teacher at the Riga Jugla Secondary School PII folk dance ensemble “Juglēni”
  • 2023–2025 – dance teacher at the private dance school Movimento Latvia, Riga
  • 2010–2013 – dancer at the Manor Ballet, London

    “Dance is a fleeting experience, it turns into memories that strengthen the community and the nation. So don’t leave the joy of dancing for concerts, enjoy every moment!”

    • She began her journey as a dance teacher in the experimental “Dance Repetitor” program at the Alfred Kalniņš Cēsis Music Secondary School, graduating in 2019.
    • She will graduate from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music in 2023, receiving a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Choreography.
    • In parallel with her studies at the music secondary school, Paula works as a dance teacher, has worked in both interest education and professional orientation programs, and has also been the head of the AKCMV dance department. In her free time, she works as a performer at cultural events and creates choreographies to order.
    • Since 2023, she has been the head of the Riga French Lyceum TDK “Auseklītis.”
    • Until high school, Paula danced with teacher Zita Serdante in the Kuldīga region, later at the Cēsis TDA “Raitais solis” with Andis Kozaks
    • Since 2019, she proudly calls herself a Daiļradietis!

        JĀNIS WAS A MEMBER OF THE GROUP “VECĀS MĀJAS”, THE LEADER OF THE SOLDIER ENSEMBLE “ZVAIGZNĪTE”.
        HIS MAIN JOB IS THE LEADING PROGRAMMING ENGINEER OF THE IT DEPARTMENT OF RADIO LATVIANS FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS:

        • Graduated from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, music theory class, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in music with a specialization in sound direction.
        • Received a master’s degree in social sciences in economics, Faculty of Economics, University of Latvia.

        JĀNIS HAS BEEN ACTIVELY WORKING AS A PIANIST, CONCERT MASTER, ACCOMPANYING MUSIC GROUP LEADER AND ACCORDIONIST FOR 35 YEARS. HE HAS PARTICIPATED IN COUNTLESS MUSIC PROJECTS, FOREIGN FESTIVALS AND CONCERTS WITH THE CHILDREN’S VOCAL ENSEMBLE “DZEGUZĪTE”, THE SIRSNĪGI BRUSSELS LATVIAN THEATRE, DANCE COLLECTIVES “ROTALA”, “KALVE”, “GUNDEGA”, “MĀRUPIŠI”, “BRUSSELS LATVIAN DANCERS”, “DZINTARIņŠ”, “DAUGAVA”, “BĀNĪTIS”. SINCE 2021, HE HAS BEEN THE CONCERTMASTER OF DA “DAIĻRADE”.
